Get involved.

We simply cannot accomplish our mission alone.

We need community involvement. We need you!

It doesn’t matter if you have one hour of time to donate or hundreds. There are many ways you can connect with our mission and help better our community. Whether it’s working on helping out with a single event, becoming a member, or joining a committee, the amount of time you can give is up to you.

Here are just a few ways you can help.

BECOME A MEMBER

As a member, you would have the opportunity to play a larger role by becoming involved on a broader basis and helping us to execute our strategic plan. We meet once a month at the Ela Township offices located at 1155 East Route 22, Lake Zurich, IL. Come and check out a meeting and learn more about the Ela Coalition and what we’re doing to help reduce underage drinking and substance use among our youth.

PARTNERSHIPS

We believe that by working together, we can build a healthier and safer community. This belief extends to our local businesses that have partnered with us to donate time and resources to help us accomplish our mission. Whether it’s participating on the Board of Directors, co-sponsoring an event, donating a facility, or simply displaying our posters in the window, there are many ways local businesses can participate as well.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are always appreciated and help us strengthen our community by expanding our message of substance abuse prevention as well as supporting our youth in making safer choices. Volunteers have the opportunity to choose projects/initiatives they'd like to help with and work alongside other community members from different sectors to provide awareness, education, and aid in prevention/intervention methods. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us and let us know how you'd be interested in contributing.

If you’re still not sure, contact us and let us know how you’d like to help. We are always looking to identify the talents and skills within our community and build our resources for current and future projects and events.
